On Sunday, Kentucky’s Oscar Tshiebwe was handed the most prestigious award in college basketball. Per the Naismith Trophy’s Twitter account, “Tshiebwe is the first Division I player since the 1979-80 season to average at least 15.0 points and 15.0 rebounds per game.” Tshiebwe closed out the year with 16 consecutive double-doubles; setting a single-season Wildcats record with 28 total.
