Next Tuesday, Microsoft plans to hold a keynote address about Windows and the future of hybrid work. The company may also provide details on the 22H2 major update for Windows 11.

With Windows 11 Version 22H2 “Sun Valley 2”, Microsoft has been working on a major update for Windows 11 for a long time, which should bring some functions known from Windows 10 and some completely new functions into the operating system. The company has so far kept a low profile on the specific scope of features or a release date, but that could change in two days.

Keynote about Windows 11

For Tuesday, Microsoft has an event called “Windows Powers the Future of Hybrid Work” announced, at which Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Windows boss Panos Panay, among others, are to present new functions. There is no concrete content plan, but the website Windows Latest expects the presentation of several new features for business and private customers.

For example, an official announcement of Windows 11 22H2 would be conceivable, in which the release plan or the rough features could be outlined, for example. The new program One Outlook, with which Microsoft wants to move previous Outlook functions to the browser, would also fit the theme of the presentation, hybrid working.

It remains to be seen what other content Microsoft will present at the event. However, there will probably be some functions that are already known from the insider builds published by Microsoft. These include several new UI features, a new copy function and a revised One Drive integration.
