The leader of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) in Borno State died as a result of injuries received in an explosion allegedly caused by Boko Haram militants’ mines. Five others were injured in the event, which occurred in Maliya village, Mandaragarau ward, Biu Local Government Area, Borno. Before the event that took his life, Ibrahim Maliya Saidu was the planning secretary of the CJTF in Biu.
