Figure skater Nolan Seegert is the first German athlete to test positive for the coronavirus at the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing, the nation’s Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) said Wednesday. Seegert, 29, is isolating in a hotel and is symptom-free, the DOSB said. The infection almost certainly rules Seegert out of the team competition which begins on Friday, the official opening day of the Games which run to February 20.
