By Chris Rosvoglou When the Carolina Panthers acquired Sam Darnold in a trade with the New York Jets last offseason, the thought was that he could revitalize his career in a different setting. So far, it doesn’t look like that’ll happen. Darnold struggled in his first year with the Panthers, completing just 59.9 percent of his passes. He finished the 2021 season with 2,527 passing yards, nine touchdown passes and 13 interceptions.
