News on April 3, this evening, BYD Auto officially announced that according to its strategic development needs,From March 2022, complete vehicle production of gasoline vehicles will be stopped.

Officials said that in the future, BYD will focus on pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles in the automotive sector. At the same time, BYD will continue to provide existing fuel vehicle customers with comprehensive services and after-sales guarantees, as well as spare parts supply throughout the life cycle to ensure worry-free travel.

In addition, tonight, @BYD Auto Official Weibo announced,BYD passenger car sales exceeded 100,000 in March, with 104,338 sales of the whole series.Among them, 53,664 EV pure electric models were sold, and 50,674 DM plug-in hybrid models were sold. New energy surged 346.2% year-on-year.

According to the official battle report, BYD Han series sold 12,359 units in March, and Han DMs increased by 524.9% month-on-month; Tang series sold 9,625 units, and the new-generation Tang DM increased by 565.9% year-on-year; Song family sold 26,729 units, Song DM increased by 2991.3% year-on-year; Qin family sold 26,729 units. 24,797 units, a year-on-year increase of 468.4%; 12,881 units for the Yuan family.

It is worth mentioning that,As the first model of BYD’s e-platform 3.0, the Dolphin sold 10,501 units in March, with a cumulative sales of over 50,000 units.

It is reported that in terms of new car layout, BYD has established sales channels on Ocean.com, Dynasty.com and high-end brand network. Currently, there are 27 Dynasty models and 4 Ocean models on sale. This year, BYD’s high-end brands Tengshi, Destroyer, Seagull, Han DM-i and other models.
