This is a joke, but the phone is for real. Ken Pillonel, who is the man behind the iPhone with USB-C, now wants to restore the balance in the world with an Android handset with Apple’s Lighting connector. However, implementing the idea was not a joke according to Pillonel, the Lightning cables Apple sells are not stupid, so he had to make the cables think they were charging an Apple device, and fit everything in a Samsung Galaxy A51, which is the phone Pillonel used in the project.
However, Pillonel has learned a thing or two from his iPhone with USB-C, so he thinks this project was a bit easier than that. The quality of the construction should not be as high as last time either.
Ken Pillonel is now working on a longer video for his channel where he explains exactly how the construction went. He does not seem to be particularly keen on selling the finished phone. He says: “I did not want to force trying to sell it because that’s not really who I am. I want to focus on my engineering and science projects. “

This is how the iPhone was made with USB-C
Apparently a pretty big project
Engineer Kenny Pi shocked the internet a few weeks ago when he showed off his iPhone with a USB-C port. In this video, he shows how the construction went. It is impressive to say the least how he went about it and you now understand why Apple did not really feel that it was worth switching from Lightning.

iPhone with USB-C sold for 86,001 dollars
Well paid for a contact
The world’s first iPhone with USB-C has attracted some attention in recent weeks, the craving for one simply seems really big. (Come on Apple, throw lightning to the woods now!) Anyway, the creator of the device posted it on eBay and got a real treat for it, $ 86,001 to be exact. That is approximately SEK 750,000. Right paid for an iPhone X with another connector. With a regular contact, you can get an iPhone X for around SEK 3,000 on Blocket today, so you pay around SEK 747,000 for that contact.
