Now, Microsoft has released Visual Studio 2022 for Mac Preview 8, which is gradually making it generally available (GA).
Visual Studio 2022 Preview 8 for Mac is primarily focused on bug fixes and addressing stability issues. Microsoft highlighted four critical issues reported by the community and marked them as fixed in this release.
These issues include keyboard shortcuts not working, blurry text on external monitors,androidCrash in Device Manager and removed hint about “Not Supported” when developing .NET MAUI projects.
Also included is a fix for a bug where people couldn’t connect to the debugger or when the Exception window opened on a secondary monitor instead of the primary monitor.
Microsoft says this release is a stepping stone in its journey towards “high quality GA” in Visual Studio 2022 for Mac. Microsoft also stressed that it wants the community to continue to provide feedback in order to provide the best possible development experience through the IDE.
