According to reports, Hino Motors must conduct engine data measurements in the presence of staff from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism if it wants to re-acquire a production license. Affected by this, Hino Motors has significantly lowered its 2021 fiscal year performance expectations until this month, and the net loss is expected to reach 54 billion yen, or about 2.8 billion yuan.
The good news is that Hino officials said that the engine and related vehicles in question are only sold in Japan and not exported to the Chinese market.
