A Jersey City man was convicted in the 2018 murder of 23-year-old Eric Crocker while one of the other alleged suspects will be retried after a hung jury. A jury found James Crawford, 24, guilty of murder in the first degree, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in the second degree and unlawful possession of a weapon on Thursday. Hudson County Superior Court Judge Angelo Servidio, J.S.C., delivered the verdict after a four-week trial. Crawford could face a sentence of 30 years to life in prison.
