This year’s awards ceremony took place yesterday German computer game prize via live stream and as an on-site event in Munich. Uke bosses and Catherine Bauerfeind led through the evening, whereby the latter could only be connected digitally due to a corona infection. Among the laudators were actresses Faye MontanaAuthor Markus Heitz and Michael WaiterParliamentary State Secretary to the Economics Minister Robert Habeck (Under the current federal government, the games department has moved from the Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure to the Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection).

The space shooter won the prize in the category Best German Game Chorus – Rise as One (in the test, grade 8.5) from Deep Silver Fishlabs. In most categories (three in total) was the indie title OMNO by Studio Inkyfox, which ultimately received the award for Best Family Game. Received the audience award in the Player of the Year category Maximilian Knabe a.k.a handofblood.
