Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has tested positive for the coronavirus. “I had a positive Covid-19 test this morning,” the 50-year-old tweeted on Monday, adding: “I’m feeling good – and will continue to work from home this week and follow official health recommendations.” On Thursday, Trudeau confirmed he had been in contact with someone who later tested positive for the virus. His own test had initially been negative, but he decided to go into quarantine for five days, Trudeau said. Trudeau’s wife Sophie contracted Covid-19 in March 2020.
