By David Wetzel New York (Knewz) — New vehicle purchase numbers are expected to be down in the first quarter of 2022, according to Edmunds. Edmunds analysts predict 3,296,280 new cars and trucks being sold in the first quarter, which is a 15.2 percent decrease from the same quarter in 2021. It is, however a 0.4 percent increase from the fourth quarter of 2021. Though overall sales are expected to be down, vehicles are leaving the lot quickly.
