Existing for nearly 20 years, the Universal Studios Japan park presents its new attractions highlighting anime.
Attack on Titan XR Ride
The Universal Studios Japan theme park has just presented its five new attractions. Indeed, on the occasion of the annual event Universal Cool Japanthe amusement park has published five videos on YouTube, each offering preview images of its future attractions, highlighting anime, but also a video game.
In a first video, fans will recognize the new attraction inspired by The attack of the Titans. Named Attack on Titan XR Ridethis attraction invites you to immerse yourself in the world of Shingeki no Kyojin with VR headsets with XR technology (Extended Reality). In a horse-drawn carriage during a rescue operation led by Captain Levi, the town is attacked by other Titans.
Sailor Moon 4D
The second attraction presented by Universal Studios Japan is the one featuring anime Sailor Moon. The new version of this attraction offers park visitors the opportunity to live with the Sailor Warriors. Moreover, the novelty is an additional scene in which you will attend a ball. But things never go as planned, as you’ll have to fight alongside the Sailor Warriors.
Hunter X Hunter The Real 4D
The third attraction presented on the occasion of Universal Cool Japan is Hunter X Hunter The Real 4D. This twenty-minute show immerses you in the fight between Gon and Hisoka. A total immersion since the attraction uses 4D, i.e. a 3D image as well as vibrations, but also many other sensations, such as that of the wind. Gon, Kurapika and Killua infiltrate an auction, when Hirosha appears. They will then try everything to prevent Hisoka’s escape, but other enemies arrive…
Detective Conan World
For its fifth year, Detective Conan World will consist of four attractions: roller coaster (Hollywood Dream the Ride), an escape game (the Mini Detective Conan the Escape), a mystery to be solved by exploring the park and a culinary experience called Detective Conan Mystery Restaurant.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborn XR
The latest attraction celebrates the famous video game Monster Hunter World. A giant hunt with a VR headset (360 degrees) that will offer you total immersion. Indeed, this action-type attraction allows you to wander around the room as a team, with specific equipment and two-handed weapons. It will take about 60 minutes for this attraction, including 25 minutes of total experience.
Each attraction is already open and should end in August 2022.
