Kunshan has extended the closure of the city due to epidemic prevention. It is currently closed until April 12. However, it is estimated that the closure of the city will be extended dynamically. PCB factories with factories in the area are also alert to the follow-up situation and have begun dynamic adjustments. The industry is worried that if Kunshan is closed for more than two weeks, it may affect local operations. It is understood that,Taijun, Taiguang, Xinxing, etc. have dispatched other factories to support production operations.
The industry pointed out yesterday that Kunshan has been closed for about a week. Although it is currently a traditional off-season, and the factory can schedule half a month of material source inventory,But the logistics still have an impact.
The legal person estimates that the PCB manufacturer’s Kunshan plant has the highest revenue share of about 60%, Nandian has about 40% and has a carrier board production capacity, and the CCL plant has a local production capacity of about 20%. Xinxing is still a traditional PCB production capacity, but Dingying, Taiwan Optoelectronics, and Xinxing have new production capacity in the mainland Huangshi plant that can be dispatched.
Taiwan Optoelectronics pointed out yesterday that it had temporarily suspended work from April 6 to April 8 in cooperation with the local government for epidemic prevention. It is now tentatively extended to April 12. It will resume normal operations after the local government is notified. The company will closely observe the subsequent development of the epidemic. Cooperate with the local government to take contingency measures to ensure the safety and health of employees, and there is no significant impact on financial business estimates. Taijun pointed out that in cooperation with the local government’s epidemic prevention measures, a cross-strait production capacity allocation mechanism will be launched.
