Fulfill the conditions of the Converted Perimeter Tower
To change that, you need two things: a certain gesture and a certain headgear. The gesture is called “Learning” and can be found in Liurnia. For this you have to Wizard Thops visit, the in the church by illith sits just beyond Castle Stormveil.

Next you need one of four shimmerstone crowns, whether from the House of Karolos, Lazuli, Olivinus or Zwillingsweis. All four hats can be found in Raya Lucaria’s Academy. For example, you can find the shimmerstone crown of House Karolos quite early in an outdoor area of the academy, where you have to defeat a dung beetle well hidden in a corner.
To get to the shimmerstone crown of House Lazuli, however, you have to go to the roofs of the academy. There you enter one of the towers, where also a shiny one dung beetle waiting for you. For the shimmerstone crown of House Olivinus you walk from the place of grace “School Classroom” into the room on the left, go onto the balcony, jump over the railing on the left and follow the path to the end.
What treasures does the Converted Edge Tower hide?
With the Gesture “Erudition” and one of the four Shimmerstone Crowns in your bag, head back to the Converted Rim Tower. There you equip one of the masks, stand in front of the seal and perform the gesture, which will cause the seal to disappear. Now climb up the stairs and defeat the enemy waiting for you there.
At the top of the tower you will find not just one, but two treasure chests in which the magic “Haima’s Hammer” and “Haima’s Cannon” await you. Both require 25 Wisdom and combine to make a good mix of melee and ranged attacks – great for an ambitious caster.
