Insider Jasper Ellens shared on Twitter the first photos of the upcoming compact drone DJI Mini 3 Pro.
Looking at the pictures, the quadcopter will get some significant upgrades over its predecessor, including obstacle avoidance sensors and a bigger battery.
On the front of the device are two large sensors to help avoid obstacles, as well as two downward-facing sensors to prevent collisions with the ground.
The new drone will also feature a lens with a maximum aperture of f/1.7, which should result in brighter images and better low-light shots compared to the f/2.8 lens on the DJI Mini 2. , potentially allowing users to shoot vertical videos for social media.
In addition, the DJI Mini 3 Pro is equipped with a 2453 mAh battery. In comparison, the DJI Mini 2 with a 2250 mAh battery offers up to 31 minutes of flight time, so the new product will be able to stay in the air longer.
Despite all the improvements, the DJI Mini 3 Pro will still weigh less than 250 grams. DJI is expected to announce the new drone in the next few weeks.
