In October 2022, CD Projekt will release an official cookbook for The Witcher. It includes a total of 80 recipes inspired by the fantasy games.
CD Projekt has announced an official cookbook for The Witcher via Twitter – and this is no belated April Fool’s joke. The Cookbook is a collection of 80 recipes inspired by dishes from The Witcher games.
On the Pre-Order Website states: “These dishes celebrate local and seasonal ingredients while adding unique ingredients that create a culinary map of the continent and beyond.” It goes on to say: “Warm up with a bowl of fragrant stew or succulent baked fruit from the eponymous White Orchard trees; end a tiring journey to Velen with a hearty, rustic meal at the local tavern; enjoy a flavorful snack, while strolling the markets of Oxenfurt; sample fare from far and wide in the diverse port town of Novigrad; feast on freshly caught fish and mulled wine on the islands of Skellige; feast on rich dishes in the sun-kissed climates of Toussaint and Beauclair; or venture out embark on the perilous road to Kaer Morhen to learn the edible secrets of the witcher’s castle.”

The Official The Witcher Cookbook was written by Anita Sarna and Karolina Krupecka. These two authors also operate the websites Nerd’s Kitchen and Witcher Kitchen. The latter website also hosts recipes inspired not only by the Witcher games but also by the Witcher books. The Witcher Cookbook will be available in hardcover for $35 – the Kindle version on Amazon will cost $15. It is slated for release on October 25th.
