An online summit between European Union and Chinese leaders on the Ukraine conflict failed to lead to a breathrougb on Friday. The EU used the talks to warn China of the economic and reputational risks involved in supporting Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, while Beijing blamed Europe for the conflict and warned Brussels not to stoke regional tensions.
