By alang.consultant New York (Knewz) — In what some might consider a petty move, organizations across the world are banning the sale of Russian liquor in response to the invasion of Ukraine. However, Russian vodka is not only a symbolic item but part of Russia’s export economy. Last week Ohio Republican Gov. Mike DeWine directed officials to stop the purchase and sale of all Russian Standard vodka. The company is the only Russian-owned distillery with vodka sold in the state.
