By alang.consultant New York (Knewz) — A New Jersey man will spend more than three years in prison for his role in stealing millions of dollars worth of HIV medication from a V.A. hospital. On Feb. 24, federal prosecutors in New Jersey announced that Wagner Checonolasco was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison for his role in the scheme. He previously pleaded guilty to conspiring to steal government property. Prosecutors said between August 2017 and November 2019, Checonolasco conspired with Lisa Hoffman and others to steal HIV medication from the V.A. hospital in Orange, New Jersey. …
