Ukrainian authorities say they have lost control over parts of the country’s south. The Kherson and Henichesk regions are no longer under Ukrainian control, according to local officials. President Volodymyr Zelensky referred to a difficult situation in the south of the country, but did not give details. According to Ukrainian sources, a canal and a hydroelectric power station in the south have been captured. It is feared that Russia will also invade the Black Sea city of Odessa.
