MANILA, Philippines — The number of new COVID-19 cases continue to decline, with yesterday’s tally nearly reaching three digits at only 1,019 cases, data from the Department of Health (DOH) showed. It was in Dec. 29, 2021 when the DOH last recorded a daily tally below 1,000 cases at 889 infections. Based on DOH’s case bulletin, the number of new COVID-19 cases has dropped starting Feb. 18.
