Francesco Friedrich completed a first-ever Olympic bobsleigh repeat double on Sunday as Germany took home a stunning ninth gold medal from the 10 events at the Beijing Games sliding centre. Friedrich, 31, and his team-mates Thorsten Margis, Candy Bauer and Alexander Schüller topped the four-man event a few days after he and Margis had also won the two-man competition.
