Italy’s Sofia Goggia declared herself only half-fit as she returned from injury to skiing in first practice for the Olympic downhill in 12th place but will give it her all in Tuesday’s race. The 2018 gold medallist and winner of four of the six season downhills was 1.55 seconds off the pace set by Swiss Priska Nufer on Saturday. Goggia badly damaged her knee and sustained a leg fracture in a super-g crash in Cortina d’Ampezzo three weeks ago.
