Olympics organizers reported nine new coronavirus cases related to the Beijing Winter Games in their Thursday report. The newly infected people included seven athletes or team members. Four of those tested positive at the airport on arrival, while the other three were already within the Olympic “closed loop” system. They were detected after about 71,000 coronavirus tests were carried out on Wednesday.
