Sweden took bronze in curling’s mixed doubles at the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing on Tuesday with a comprehensive thrashing of Britain. World champions Jennifer Dodds and Bruce Mouat took the first end by a single stone but immediately collapsed to lose four in the next end and three after that to leave Almida De Val and Oskar Eriksson on the brink of victory.
