Karl Heinz-Rummenigge will be inducted into the Italian football hall of fame, the country’s governing FIGC said late Thursday. The highly decorated Rummenigge, the former long-standing chairman of Bayern Munich, will be the first German included in the role honour since the practice was established in 2011.
